Dr. Kenneth Hartigan-Go was formerly the Undersecretary at the Philippine Department of Health and his portfolio covers health regulations, health and trade, private public partnership, supply chain management, innovations, and was co-chair to the Interagency Committee on Antimicrobial Resistance and to the Food Safety Regulations Coordination Board.
Previously, his government post included being the Director General for Food and Drugs Administration. He is a clinician and covers internal medicine and medical toxicology discipline. He recently was conferred Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (Edinburgh). Previously he was academic faculty of the UP College of Medicine, Ateneo School of Medicine and Public Health, Asian Institute of Management.
He has served as member of the WHO Global Advisory Committee on Vaccine Safety and is a current member of the WHO Advisory Committee on the Safety of Medicinal Products. He is also a member of the Executive Board of ISoP.
